Suzie Stepsis: Thank you so much. I’m really excited about the project you’re casting for. Can you tell me more about it?

Pierre Woodman: Sure, it’s a feature film that takes place in Paris. It’s a romantic comedy about a young American woman who falls in love with a French man.

Suzie Stepsis: That sounds amazing! I love romantic comedies. What kind of character are you looking for?

Pierre Woodman: Well, the lead actress needs to be someone who can bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the role. She needs to be able to convey a sense of wonder and excitement about the city of Paris and the experience of falling in love.

Suzie Stepsis: I think I can do that. I’ve been studying French for a few years, and I’ve always been interested in French culture.

Pierre Woodman: That’s great to hear. I think your enthusiasm and your natural charm would be a great fit for the character.

Suzie Stepsis: Thank you! What kind of preparation do you think I should do for the role?

Pierre Woodman: Well, I think you should immerse yourself in French culture as much as possible. Read books, watch films, listen to music, and practice speaking the language as much as possible. And of course, spend some time in Paris if you can.

Suzie Stepsis: That sounds like a lot of fun. I can’t wait to get started.

Pierre Woodman: Great! I’m excited to work with you. Let’s talk more about the character and the script. I think there are some aspects of the role that we could develop further.

Suzie Stepsis: Absolutely. I’m open to any suggestions you have.

Pierre Woodman: Well, I think we should focus on making the character more dynamic and complex. She shouldn’t just be a one-dimensional romantic lead. We should explore some of the challenges and conflicts that come up when an American woman falls in love with a French man.

Suzie Stepsis: That’s a great idea. I think it would be really interesting to explore the cultural differences and misunderstandings that can arise in that kind of situation.

Pierre Woodman: Exactly. And I think we should also think about the character’s backstory and her motivations. What drives her to come to Paris and fall in love with a French man?

Suzie Stepsis: That’s a good point. I think she should have some kind of personal or professional goal that she’s pursuing in addition to her romantic interests.

Pierre Woodman: Yes, that’s a great idea. It will make her more relatable and interesting to audiences.

Suzie Stepsis: So, what’s the next step in the process?

Pierre Woodman: Well, I think we should start working on the script. We can have some meetings with the screenwriter and start developing the character and the story further. And of course, we’ll need to do some auditions for the other roles in the film.

Suzie Stepsis: Sounds good. When do you think we’ll start shooting?

Pierre Woodman: We’re aiming to start shooting in about six months, so we have some time to prepare and develop the project further.

Suzie Stepsis: Great. I’m really looking forward to it.
